“Ever since Happiness heard your name, it has been running through the streets trying to find you.”
- Hafez, 14th century poet
Sometimes, life sucks.
Whether it’s the sharp edge of trauma, the heavy fog of depression, or the relentless shriek of anxiety, there are times when “happiness” feels more like a marketing slogan than a reality. And if you’re here, then this is probably one of those times.
So let’s change things.
My approach is based on warmth, open-mindedness, and the idea that your circumstances and needs are unique - meaning your experience in therapy should be personalized to you. We can be armchair archeologists unearthing the mysteries of your past, tactical engineers applying research-backed techniques for real-world change, or just two humans trying to figure out what the heck is up with your boss/ex/mother.
What brings you in?
I’m keen to help with whatever challenges you’re facing. My specialties include:

Anxiety: Find peace and quiet within yourself. Read more.
Depression: Move from just existing to truly living. Read more.
Chronic illness and pain: Reclaim your life - chronic health condition be damned! Read more.
Couples therapy: Break the negative cycles and remember why you actually liked each other to begin with. Read more.
Philosophy and practice
I use a mix of science and heart to help you move forward. The modalities that we’ll draw from include:
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR): Reprocess trauma with “physio for your brain.” Read more.
Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT): Change your life by changing your thoughts. Read more.
Existential therapy: Explore who you are and what you want when the old answers just aren’t right anymore. Read more.
Deep dives into your past, practical tools for the present, or just making sense of the mess of it all - whatever your goal, I’m excited for us to get started. I’m based in downtown Toronto and offer in-person and virtual sessions (virtual sessions can be either video chats or audio only wherein we pretend that it’s the ‘90s and use our phones as actual phones!). You can read more about me here.
